The first China (Ganzhou) Health and Wellness Industry Expo will be held from December 5-7, 2025 at the China Nankang Home Aesthetics Museum, with a focus on creating two themed exhibition areas: the "Smart Elderly Care Robot Exhibition Area" and the "Elderly friendly Products and Auxiliary Equipment Exhibition Area". It will introduce domestic and foreign smart health and wellness brands to connect and cooperate with local furniture manufacturing enterprises, help Nankang furniture industry integrate into the "Furniture Manufacturing+Health and Wellness Equipment" industry, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of local enterprises, and promote Nankang District to leap from the "Capital of Furniture" to the "Highland of Health and Wellness Industry".

At the same time as the Expo, the Ganzhou Silver Hair Industry Chain Cooperation and Exchange Conference and the Elderly Care Industry Procurement Matchmaking Conference were held, and a list of millions of elderly friendly procurement needs was released.

PART6 Introduction to Ganzhou

Ganzhou, located at the southernmost tip of Jiangxi Province, borders Hunan, Guangdong, and Fujian. It is the largest and most populous prefecture level city in Jiangxi Province. The elderly population in Ganzhou continues to grow. As of the end of 2024, the city's population aged 60 and above has reached 1.631 million, accounting for 18.20% of the total population. It is the only prefecture level city in Jiangxi Province with an elderly population exceeding one million. Under the policy guidance of the Civil Affairs Department of Jiangxi Province, which supports the development of silver economy industrial parks by combining local characteristic industries in areas with conditions, Ganzhou is making every effort to address population aging, systematically layout industries related to silver economy, and explore the construction of high-level silver economy industrial parks.

As the largest furniture production and manufacturing base in the country, Nankang in Ganzhou has the most complete industrial chain and the most detailed industrial division of labor in the modern furniture cluster, with nearly 500000 employees and more than 8000 furniture enterprises. The cluster output value has exceeded 270 billion yuan, and the cluster brand value has exceeded 70 billion yuan, ranking first in the national furniture industry.

Currently, Nankang District is actively building an aging friendly industrial ecosystem, and many furniture companies are transforming towards an aging friendly direction. By 2025, we will invest 20 million yuan in supporting funds to focus on developing the aging friendly furniture industry, and invest over 1.2 million yuan to complete the aging friendly renovation of 458 households. At the same time, a suitable aging product display center will be established and a feasibility study symposium will be held to build a suitable aging product industrial park. The Home Aesthetics Museum will be transformed into the country's first suitable aging product exhibition and sales center, and an online and offline centralized procurement platform will be built to integrate more than 50 types of suitable aging products, forming a "transformation product service" full chain supply system.

As one of the core components of the Nankang Home Furnishing Industry Belt, the Home Aesthetics Hall is the main venue for this event, located on the east side of the Home Furnishing Town with a building area of nearly 50000 square meters. It is a full house decoration display and sales platform that integrates "home decoration+furniture+home appliances", and is also the first "ready to move in physical home shopping mall", "home metaverse experience hall", and "anti-aging product exhibition and sales center" in China.
