Wuhan promotes "Internet + home care" and opens a new model of smart care

In order to standardize the construction and management of "Internet + Home Care" facilities, Wuhan City has formulated regulations in accordance with the "Wuhan City's Implementation Plan for Promoting the New Model of "Internet + Home Care" in light of actual conditions.

◆ Various service facilities of "Internet + home care" should rely on network means and intelligent equipment to allow the elderly to enjoy professional care and nursing support service capabilities at home, focusing on "three assistance and one care" (food assistance, cleaning assistance, Medical assistance, remote care) set up service projects.


◆ Fully integrate various resources such as health care and housekeeping services, and incorporate and sign services for the elderly care institutions, community elderly service centers, and community embedded outlets within the jurisdiction. The platform should have six basic functions such as “service demand response”, “data summary analysis”, “assessment management”, “service subsidy settlement”, “emergency assistance call transfer”, and “service process supervision”. The platform and public service platform are interconnected, and functions such as health management and visual remote monitoring are gradually added to the platform in accordance with the needs of the elderly in the jurisdiction.


◆ Community embedded service outlets must have remote care functions, and set up no less than 5 "family elderly care beds", and bed service outlets should mainly provide functions for the moderately and lightly disabled elderly or self-care elderly. Short-term care services such as rehabilitation and post-operative recovery (usually within 3 months).


◆ Encourage and support various types of elderly care institutions, old service companies and other social forces to use their resource advantages to participate in the construction of "Internet + home care" service facilities, conduct chain operations, and actively explore innovative service models.
