This event will be divided into six categories. The participating programs and works need to be based on the opening year of the 15th Five Year Plan, closely follow the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, praise the glorious achievements of the Party and the country, showcase the significant achievements of the reform and opening up in the Greater Bay Area, and highlight the upward spirit of the elderly population in the new era. among which

1. Vocal category: Solo singing, group singing (2-10 people), choir singing (11 or more people), unlimited singing style, performance time ≤ 5 minutes;

2. Language, opera, and instrumental music: recitation (4 or more people, performance time ≤ 5 minutes), instrumental ensemble (4 or more people), situational drama, drama, opera, cross-talk, skits (2 or more people), performance time ≤ 6 minutes;

3. Dance category: More than 10 people, unlimited dance types, performance duration ≤ 6 minutes;

4. Fashion performance category: including fashion shows, qipao performances, etc., with more than 10 people and a performance duration of ≤ 5 minutes;

5. Sports category: Tai Chi, Softball, Martial Arts, Fitness Exercises, etc., with more than 10 people, performance time ≤ 5 minutes;

Event schedule and milestones

1. Registration: Online and offline registration will begin today. Registration deadline: Classes 1-3, deadline on April 23rd; Categories 4-5, deadline on May 6th.

2. Online audition: Qualification review will be conducted simultaneously with registration, and the deadline for review is early May.

3. Semifinals: From early May to mid June, each category will hold its own semi-finals, and the specific time will be notified separately.

4. Finals: From July 2nd to 6th, categories 1-5 will participate in the finals.

5. Exhibition and Tour:

(1) On August 23rd, excellent programs with third prize or above were organized to be exhibited on-site at the Guangzhou Old Expo;

6. Award Ceremony: Around the Double Ninth Festival in October, the Silver Age Art Season Award Ceremony and Outstanding Works Performance will be held.

7. Supporting activities:

Selection Rules (Guangzhou Division)

1. Online selection: Participants upload their work videos and pictures, and the organizing committee conducts an online preliminary review.

2. Semifinals: A comprehensive evaluation will be conducted through a combination of online likes and expert reviews. Among them, expert review accounts for 80% and is ranked according to expert ratings; Online likes account for 20%, ranked by likes. At the same time, a "Best Popularity Award" will be established, which will be directly generated based on the ranking of likes.

3. Finals: Expert on-site scoring will be used to determine awards based on comprehensive scores. The average scores of each contestant/team will be announced on site, and the final results will be announced at the award ceremony.

Registration Requirements

1. Number requirement: According to the number of people required for each category of the competition;

2. Age requirement: 50 to 75 years old (visual arts require over 50 years old), in good health;

3. Information requirements: Accurately fill in team name, team leader and member names, contact information, competition category, work introduction and other information;

4. Material requirements: Each team is required to submit one horizontal or 1:1 cover image (for mini program display). Performance teams are required to submit a watermark free video (in MP4 format, with a resolution of 720p or higher and a duration that meets the category requirements);

5. Work requirements: The content of the work must conform to the theme of the event, and there should be no illegal or vulgar content. Participants are required to sign a disclaimer confirming that the content of their work is legal and compliant, does not infringe upon any third-party rights, and authorizes the organizer to use it for event promotion and related displays. If disputes arise due to copyright or content issues, the relevant legal responsibilities shall be borne by the participants themselves.

6. Special note: Programs that win the Excellence Award or above in the first Silver Age Art Season in 2025 are not eligible to reapply for this competition. Winning teams can register again with their new works. The same team can only register for one program in the same category.
