On site, the 10th China (Guangzhou) International Elderly Care and Health Industry Expo (referred to as "Guangzhou Elderly Expo") announced its 10th anniversary strategy, stating that the exhibition will kick off from August 21-23, 2026 at the China Import and Export Fair Exhibition Hall, with the theme of "Picking up Light and Sharing the Chain, Silver Hair New Ecology", comprehensively upgrading and building a benchmark platform for the silver hair economy and ecological industry in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.

It is reported that the Guangzhou Elderly Expo is the 34th professional exhibition of the Guangzhou Expo hosted by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government. It has been successfully held for nine sessions and is the first professional exhibition in the elderly care and health industry in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area to be certified by the International Exhibition Industry Association (UFI). It has attracted over 4000 brand exhibitors and more than 1 million visitors for procurement, ranking first in the elderly care exhibition in the Bay Area and among the top in the country. This year's Old Expo coincides with its 10th anniversary and is hosted by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government. The Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau, Guangzhou Cooperation Office, and Guangzhou Expo Organizing Committee Office are responsible for it, while Guangdong Cross Procurement Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Yinling Health Industry Co., Ltd. are responsible for it. It has been listed as a key task in the 2026 Guangzhou Municipal Government Work Report and has achieved a comprehensive leap.
